Multifaceted Jacob Gutierrez recognizes that growth is his greatest value. Spanning over a decade in the performing arts, he appeared for seven years in ALADDIN on Broadway, where he starred in the title role, and most recently, played opposite Dan Levy in Netflix’s new comedy, BIG MISTAKES, streaming now. He’s also appeared on CBS and Apple TV+.
Beyond the arts, Jacob is a Clinical Psychology graduate student at Montclair State University, where he is a research lab assistant in the Autism and Neurodevelopment Lab under the direction of Dr. Erin Kang. He has co-authored and presented at psychological conferences across the country and has developed and run neurodiversity-affirming workshops for youth.
The remarkable reality about psychological study is how it informs his life as an actor. Jacob takes every opportunity to engage his mind and expand himself and knows how to have a little fun along the way.
